Sun Pass Film Festival exists to bridge the gaps in Florida's film community. Whether that means acting as a platform for Florida filmmakers to show each other their films, acting as a platform for outside filmmakers to introduce themselves to a Floridian audience (or vice-versa) or simply being a way for filmmakers to get the chance to meet. All of the above are essential to creating and sustaining a vibrant film community, which Florida so desperately needs. Over the course of 4 years and 5 festivals, Sun Pass has continued to work at preserving and uplifting Floridian Filmmaking.
